THE TRAVEL DAY

The travel day can be exhausting, up early, flight, transfer, booking in to the hotel & unpacking. Playing 18 holes on a travel day when your tired & feeling stiff is never a good idea as it tends to lead to poor swings & inconsistent performance which then knocks your confidence just before the tournament begins. The professional amateur understands this & instead has a short practice session focusing on warming up all areas of the game on the short game & long game practice areas.
